Bioballs provide an extremely high surface area for beneficial bacteria to grow, which clean and remove toxins/nutrients from your pond water..
They have the highest surface area to volume ration of any of the bioballs on teh market, meaning you will need less of them to do the job!
We recommend around 2% of the volume of the pond should be bioballs, housed within a filter box, but any amount will be beneficial.
