A thermometer is a vital piece of equipment for any tank, every fish species has its own temperature requirements – a thermometer will indicate whether or not your temperature is within the correct levels for your much-loved fish. It is the first line of defence warning you about any heating malfunction your tank may be experiencing.

This thermometer fastens to the outside of your tank reducing the occurrence of visually distracting equipment within the tank itself. It can be set with an adjustable temperature alarm for precise monitoring of your aquarium water.  When the aquarium temperature exceeds the set parameters, the alarm indicator briefly sounds and continuously flashes.

To set the temperature thresholds, hold the SET button for 2 seconds, then adjust the high and low ranges using the +/- buttons and press SET to confirm. The alarm activates with a sound and flashing LED if temperatures go outside the set range. Pressing any button will silence the alarm, but it will reactivate in one hour if the temperature remains outside the limits.
