Dymax CO2 Aluminium Starter Kit

Complete CO2 System for Freshwater Aquariums

The Dymax CO2 Aluminium Starter Kit provides a high-quality, compact CO2 system for aquariums up to 250L.

If you want to take your aquarium to the next level with the addition of CO2 but feel daunted by all the complicated bits and pieces you need to get started, then an all-in-one kit is your best starting point!

CO2 is an awesome addition to planted tanks, making plants grow faster, stronger and more vibrant. Most eye-catching planted aquariums you see day to day will be artificially injecting CO2 to get that look. This kit has everything you need to get started. You can use it as a jumping-off point before committing to a larger, more expensive system or stick with it!

The kit features a single moulded high-pressure aluminium cylinder with a specially treated surface for enhanced durability, corrosion resistance, and safe pressurised application. It includes everything you need to start dosing CO2 efficiently: regulator with pressure gauge, bubble counter, diffuser, air tubing, cylinder stand, and a 0.6L cylinder.

How a Simple CO2 System Works

  • CO2 Cylinder: Stores pressurised carbon dioxide safely until released.
  • Regulator: Controls the pressure of CO2 leaving the cylinder for consistent dosing (rather than pumping it all in at once and overdosing your tank!).
  • Bubble Counter: Lets you monitor the CO2 flow into the aquarium (so you can actually see how much is going into the water and adjust accordingly).
  • Diffuser: Breaks CO2 into fine bubbles, improving dissolution and absorption by plants.
  • Air Tubing & Stand: Connects the system safely and keeps the cylinder stable.
