Dirty Water pumps

Dirty water pumps or filter pumps are pond pumps that are designed to move dirty, sludgy water to a filtration system.

Solids Handling Pumps do not clean the water, they only move it. They must work in conjunction with a filter. Alternatively, they can be used as a waterfall pump that will not block up often like a fountain pump will.

We only sell quality pond filter pumps such as OASE Aquamax, Aquascape and Pondmax. These pond pumps all have warranties of between 3 and 5 years.

Don’t buy your fish a cheap and nasty filter pump that will burn out within a year!

These filter pumps push dirty water through a fish pond filter and/or up to a waterfall. Such as the size of the pond, the height of any waterfall, and the type of filter you are using. As well as the desired effect and the type and quantity of fish you wish to keep.
