Hikari Gold is designed to enhance colour development, growth and immune health. It is commonly used by koi breeders and showers.

Feeding Guidelines

Monitor your pond’s water temperature regularly and adjust feeding frequency and portions accordingly. Hikari Gold is best fed during the warmer months of the year.  Avoid overfeeding, and always remove any uneaten food after feeding to keep your pond healthy.

• 20-30°C (68-86°F): Feed 2-4 times daily, providing no more food than your fish will finish within 2 minutes.
• 15-20°C (59-68°F): Feed up to twice daily, with the same 2-minute consumption guideline. For best results, feed during the warmer part of the day.
• Below 11°C (52°F): Feed once or twice a week or use a food with a greater wheat germ make up such as our bulk feed.

Hikari Gold is ideal as a daily diet for all koi and larger goldfish, especially if you want to enhance their coloration and promote healthy growth.
