The Reptile One Turtle Health Block is specially formulated to condition the water in your turtle’s home while releasing beneficial minerals that support overall health. Containing calcium, Vitamin D, and other essential minerals, this block helps prevent shell softening caused by acidic water and high ammonia levels. It also acts as a pH buffer, reducing acidity and neutralising ammonia, creating a healthier environment for your turtles.

Turtles require specialised care (much more than our fish ask of us!). They need UV light, calcium and an appropriate area to dry off in order to ensure their health. Without this, they can develop soft shells, bone diseases, become deformed or die. If you are keeping your turtle outside and he has access to sunlight and an area to escape the water and dry off, then you will rarely have to do anything else! This block can be used to help ensure their water is safe and dosed with vitamins that support their health.

If keeping them inside, this product should always be used in conjunction with a proper dock and UV light.
