This is one of those products that we use all the time ourselves in the store and when out on maintenance jobs. Lots of pond and aquarium equipment have O-rings and moving parts inside them. These parts can get dry, caked in gunk and stuck over time. O-rings in particular can become brittle with months of use and can lose their water-tight seal. This is one of the common causes we see for leaks and equipment breaking when the electrical parts that rely on an o-ring to keep dry suddenly find water seeping through. This can be a $300+ fix that could be solved by a couple of minutes of your time and a tiny tube of lubricant.

We also use this stuff to keep moving components smooth so you don’t risk breaking them by using excessive force!
