Pond One O2 Plus 12000 Air Pump

If you’re looking for a reliable air pump to give your pond a serious boost, the Pond One O2 Plus 12000 is a top choice. It’s got power, it’s got quality components, and it’s backed by a solid 2-year warranty. This unit can handle up to 10 air outlets and pumps a generous 6600 litres of air per hour — perfect for large ponds, koi setups, or anyone looking to improve oxygen levels and filtration efficiency.

We’ve sold heaps of these over the years and they’ve proven to be super reliable. Like everything we stock, the warranty is actually worth something — and we very rarely see these come back.

Why use a pond air pump?

Air pumps are essential for keeping pond water oxygen-rich — which is exactly what fish and good bacteria need to thrive. During warmer months (and just generally), oxygen can drop dramatically, stressing fish and reducing filtration performance. Adding an air pump helps keep your pond healthy, reduces fish stress, and gives your biofilter the oxygen it needs to break down waste.

It’s also a great backup to have during power outages or storms — and can make a big difference to fish survival during emergencies.

⚙️ How to Set Up Your Air Pump

Air pumps should never be submerged. They are designed to sit outside your pond, preferably somewhere they are sheltered from the elements. The air pump will connect to a standard power outlet. A manifold (included) will connect to the air pump. You can then connect air line tubing to each outlet coming off of the manifold and attach an air stone to the other end of each length of airline tubing. These air stones are what breaks the air flow up into lots of tiny bubbles!

️ Recommended Add-ons

this unit comes with an air pump and manifold for 10 x air hose outlets. In order to get it up and running you will require some airline hose, airstones and checkvalves sold separately

Pro tip: If you use the included plastic manifold but dont want to run all 10 outlets you can use a short length of airline to join 2 outlets together – allowing that airflow to divert into the other outlets being used!

  •  airline tubing – flexible, durable and UV resistant. This is what connects your pump to the airstones inside the pond
  • Air stones – we have heaps of air stones available, but these are our go to
  • check valves – these are not needed but highly recommended, especially if your air pump is going to be sitting lower than the water level of your pond. Check valves stop water from accidently flowing down your airline tube and breaking the air pump.
